Privacy & cookies

Swish Girls Basketball is a program of Swish Atlanta, LLC. This page explains optional measurement on swishgirlsbasketball.com and the choices available to you.

Your choices

Analytics and marketing are separate optional choices. Both are off for a new visitor until that visitor chooses. An existing analytics choice does not grant marketing permission. Use Privacy choices on any page to change or withdraw either choice. Declining optional measurement does not stop you from using the site or following a registration link.

Google Analytics

If you allow Analytics, Google Analytics receives page visits and registration-button clicks, together with technical information such as browser/device details and cookie identifiers. We use this to understand website traffic and campaign sources. Google advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization are not enabled by this analytics choice.

Meta marketing measurement

If you allow Marketing, Meta Pixel receives page visits and registration-button clicks, plus browser/device and advertising identifiers, to measure advertising performance. Meta may associate information it receives with information it already holds, according to its policies and your Meta settings. Marketing consent is not required to allow Analytics.

Event limits and contact forms

Our measurement events use fixed player/team and button-placement labels. Our code does not read form answers, player names, email addresses or phone numbers into these events. Automatic advanced matching and automatic event detection are not part of this setup. We restrict page/referrer contexts used for Meta and omit private query strings and fragments from Google page locations; some visits may therefore not be measured.

Details you choose to send through a contact or coach form are separate from optional measurement and are sent to Swish so we can respond. A registration-button click is not a completed registration. Registration continues on DaySmart or the relevant program provider, whose own privacy information and account controls apply there.

Cookies, browser storage and withdrawal

We remember your category choices in this browser for up to 180 days. Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga; Meta may use _fbp and _fbc and its own browser identifiers when Marketing is allowed. Cookie behavior can vary with your browser and provider settings. Withdrawing a category stops our future events for that category and removes its measurement cookies that this site can access. It does not erase information already received by a provider. Browser cookie/storage controls and provider privacy tools offer additional choices.

Provider information and contact

Read Google's privacy policy and Meta's privacy policy for their processing and controls. Website measurement is not described here as fully anonymous.
